History

J. Scott Krein founded Krein Law Firm in 2006. His ties to Prince William County are strong and consistent. He graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School in 1979 and the College of William and Mary, where he majored in both Government and Philosophy, in 1983. Following graduation from Creighton University School of Law in 1986, he was admitted to practice law by the Virginia Supreme Court in 1986 and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals in 1988.

He has practiced before all levels of the trial and appellate courts throughout Virginia and DC and the federal courts. He is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the District of Columbia, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the United States Court of Claims, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

He has maintained an office in Woodbridge, Virginia for over 35 years.

His practice emphasizes civil litigation involving contractual relationships, injuries suffered through negligence, and defense of those accused of serious crimes.
